Section 14

by substituting for the word “Board” wherever appearing the words “Director General”;

by inserting after subsection (4) the following subsection:

“(4a)  Where there is doubt as to whether an activity to be licensed is for a medical purpose or a purpose other than a medical purpose, the matter shall be referred to the Advisory Council for the purpose of identifying whether the activity is to be licensed for a medical purpose or a purpose other than a medical purpose under this Act and the Director General shall act in accordance with the findings of the Advisory

Council.”; and

in subsection (6)—

by substituting for the words “continue in force for such period not exceeding three years” the words

“continue to be in force for such period of not less than one year and not exceeding forty years”; and
