Section 15
The principal Act is amended by inserting after section 16
the following section:
“Application for permit 16a. (1) An applicant for a permit under this Act shall first make an application in that behalf to the Director General.
(2)
The Director General may thereafter issue to the applicant a permit upon payment of the prescribed fee or may, if he thinks fit, refuse to issue such permit.

Every permit issued under this Act shall, unless sooner cancelled or suspended, continue to be in force for such period as may be specified in the permit.”.
