Section 18a

Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years or to a fine not exceeding five hundred thousand ringgit or to both.

Application of Strategic Trade Act 2010 18b.  Notwithstanding section 12a, the Strategic Trade

Act 2010 shall apply to the export, transhipment or transit of radioactive material or nuclear material which are prescribed as the strategic items under the Strategic

Trade Act 2010.”.
