Section 21
Section 21 of the principal Act is amended—
(a)
in the shoulder note, by substituting for the words “every sale of radioactive material, etc.” the word “sale”;
(b)
by substituting for subsection (1) the following subsection:
“(1) Every licensee who sells radioactive material, nuclear material or radiation generator shall submit a return of sale in the prescribed form.”;

(c)
in subsection (2)—
(i)
by substituting for the words “, prescribed substance or irradiating apparatus” the words “or radiation generator”; and
(ii)
by substituting for the word “Board” the words
“Director General”; and
(d)
by inserting after subsection (2) the following subsection:
“(3) Any person who contravenes subsection (1)
commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years or to a fine not exceeding five hundred thousand ringgit or to both.”.
