Section 22
The principal Act is amended by inserting after section 21
the following section:
“Nuclear or radiological emergency preparedness and response plan 21a. (1) Every licensee shall prepare and submit an appropriate nuclear or radiological emergency preparedness and response plan for the approval of the appropriate authority in the manner as may be prescribed.
(2)
Any licensee who contravenes subsection (1)
commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years or to a fine not exceeding five hundred thousand ringgit or to both.”.
