Acceptance of application for registration of geographical indication

Section 13
(1)
If an application for the registration of a geographical indication is accepted under subsection 12(6) or (9), the Registrar shall issue a notice of acceptance to the applicant requiring the applicant to make payment of the prescribed fee within the period as specified in such notice.
(2)
If the applicant fails to make payment under subsection (1), the application for the registration of the geographical indication shall be deemed to be withdrawn.
