Section 70

In the absence of a cause of action against the Registrar, the Registrar shall not be made a party to the following proceedings:

proceedings against certain uses of geographical indication under section 77;

cancellation of registered geographical indication by the Court under section 23; or

any appeal against the decision of the Registrar in relation to the matters specified under subsection 96(1).
