Section 50
Protection against suits and legal proceedings
of East Coast Economic Region Development Council Act 2008
No action, suit, prosecution or other proceedings shall lie or be brought, instituted or maintained in any court against—

(a)
the Chairman;
(b)
the Council;
(c)
any member of the Council, any member of the
Implementation and Coordination Committees, or any member of a committee;
(d)
the Chief Executive, any officer or servant of the Council;
or
(e)
an agent of the Council or any other person lawfully acting on behalf of the Council, in respect of any act, neglect, default or omission done by him or it in good faith in carrying out his or its powers, functions and responsibilities under this Act in such capacity.
