Section 18
—
(1)
The State Fisheries Officer shall cause the said Order or an extract thereof to be appropriately displayed or exhibited or posted at the fisheries sanctuary or on the banks of any river, stream, lake, pond or reservoir where the fisheries sanctuary is located.
(2)
Any person who, without authority of the State Fisheries
Officer, removes, destroys, defaces, damages or alters in any manner, the contents of any Order or extract thereof displayed, exhibited or posted in accordance with subsection (1), shall be guilty of an offence:
Penalty, a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or imprisonment not exceeding six months or both.
