Section 36

If an application for renewal of a prospecting licence is made to the Minister—

(a)

within the period mentioned in section 24(2); and

(b)

the term of the prospecting licence would, but for this subsection, expire, the prospecting licence shall continue to remain in force until the application is determined but shall be deemed to have expired on the date on which the said application is refused.
