Delivery of persons arrested on warrant

Section 27
(1)
A person arrested under a warrant or an order of a court having civil or criminal jurisdiction shall be brought before the court by which the warrant or order was issued.
(2)
If the court under subsection (1) is not then sitting, the person shall be delivered to an Officer in Charge for intermediate custody.
(3)
The Officer in Charge shall cause the person to be brought before that court at its next sitting in order that the person may be dealt with according to law.
