Removal and transfer of prisoners

Section 32
(1)
The Commissioner General may, by order in writing, remove or transfer all or any prisoners confined in a prison to any other prison.
(2)
No prisoner removed under subsection (1) while in the custody of a prison officer shall be deemed to have escaped although he may be taken into different jurisdictions or to different places of confinement.
(3)
For purposes of this section, it shall not be necessary in the order to identify a prisoner by name, but it shall be sufficient to describe the prisoner by reference to his nationality or sentence or by some other like general description.
