Section 126
(1)
Save with the approval of the local authority, no pipe for conveying rain water from a roof or yard shall be connected to a pipe used for conveying the soil or drainage from any sanitary convenience.
(2)
No pipe for conveying surface water from any premises shall be permitted to act as a ventilating shaft to any drain conveying foul water.
(3)
If it appears to a local authority that there is on any premises a contravention of this section, it may by notice require the owner or the occupier of such premises to execute such work as may be necessary to remedy the matter.
Appeal to Minister against local authority’s exercise of its powers.
