Section 102
No person shall, while in the course of investigation, destroy or abandon any fish, aquatic life, turtle, fishing appliance, explosives substance, explosive projectile, natural poisonous substance, poisonous chemical substance, pollutant, prohibited gear or any other thing, so as to avoid its seizure or the detection of any offence under this Enactment.

(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction –
(a)
if a corporate body to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit;
and
(b)
if not corporate body to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
