Section 25

(1)

It shall be an offence for any person to be in possession of any explosive substance, explosive projectile, poisonous chemical substance or prohibited gear, unless the contrary is proved that it was for lawful purposes other than fishing.

(2)

Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.

Prohibition on the sale or placing on the market of fish caught by use of explosive substance or explosive projectile or natural poisonous substance or poisonous chemical substance.
