(1)
The Director may cancel any licence issued under this Part, if after three months from the date of its issuance, fishing operations to which the licence relates have not commenced.
(2)
Upon cancellation of the licence, the licensee shall immediately surrender his licence to the Director.
(3)
Before the Director makes a decision to cancel such licence, the licensee concerned shall be given an opportunity to show cause why his licence should not be cancelled.
(4)
The licensee concerned must present his show cause letter to the Director within a period of two weeks of the receipt of the notice, failing which the Director may proceed to cancel the licence.
