Section 32

Every person who shall lay or use any service pipe or communication pipe shall permit the Water Authority to fit thereon a stopcock enclosed in a covered box or pit of such size as may be reasonably necessary, and placed in such position as the Water Authority deems most convenient:

Provided that a stopcock in private premises shall be placed as near as is reasonably practicable to the street from which the service pipe enters those premises, and on the side of the meter near the main.
