Purchase of land by officers, etc.
of National Land Code (Revised - 2020)
Where any land or interest therein is offered for sale in pursuance of any provision of this Act, none of the following persons shall acquire, or attempt to acquire, it for himself, directly or indirectly:
(a)
the State Director, Registrar and Director of Survey and
Mapping of the State in which the land or interest is situated;

In its application to the Federal Territory of Labuan, substitute for the words “The State Director, the
Registrar or any Land Administrator” the words
“The State Director or the Registrar”.
Section 19
In its application to the Federal Territory of Labuan, delete the words “, Land Office”.
(b)
any Land Administrator, District Officer, Settlement Officer or Survey Officer having jurisdiction in the district or subdistrict in which the land or interest is situated;
(c)
any person employed under any of the officers referred to in paragraph (a) or (b);
(d)
any person having any duty to perform in connection with the sale.
