Section 6

The Director General of Lands and Mines (Federal) appointed under the Federal Lands Commissioner Act 1957 [Act 349], shall have the functions conferred on him by or under this Act and in carrying out such functions he shall be known as the Director

General of Lands and Mines; and the Yang di-Pertuan Agong may appoint a Deputy Director General of Lands and Mines and so many Assistant Directors General of Lands and Mines and such other officers as he may consider necessary for the purposes of this Act.
