(1)
Sections 244 to 247 and Chapters 3 to 5 shall apply both to charges created under this Act and to those created under the provisions of any previous land law.
(2)
References in any of the said provisions to the chargor or the chargee shall be construed in relation to any charge as references to the person or body in whom the charged land or lease is for the time being vested or, as the case may be, the person or body for the time being entitled to the benefit of the charge.
