Entry of instruments in Presentation Book

(1)
The Registrar shall maintain a book, to be called the “Presentation Book”, in which, subject to section 293, there shall be entered a short description of every instrument presented for registration under this Part, together with the name and address of the person or body by whom it was presented and the time of presentation, as noted thereon pursuant to subsection 292(3).

The Presentation Book shall constitute conclusive evidence as to the time of presentation of any instrument entered therein.
(3)
Any entry made in the Presentation Book pursuant to this section shall continue in force until the instrument to which it relates has been withdrawn under section 296, rejected in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 2 or Part Nineteen, or duly registered.
