Section 85

Section 85

(1)

For the purpose of the alienation of land under this

Act under final title, there shall be prepared in accordance with section 86 or 87—

(a)

a register document of title, on the registration of which in accordance with section 88 the alienation shall take effect; and

(b)

an issue document of title, which shall be issued to the proprietor of the land in accordance with section 90.

(2)

The documents referred to in subsection (1) shall be prepared—

(a)

in the case of land to be alienated under Registry title, by the Registrar; and

(b)

in the case of land to be alienated under Land Office title, by the Land Administrator, and (except where it relates to a rural holding under the Land

(Group Settlement Areas) Act 1960) each such document shall relate to one lot.
