Section 53

Section 53

Any officer or an authorized officer acting bona fide in the exercise of his powers may shoot kill or take any wild animal or wild bird if—/

(a)

the wild animal or wild bird is a danger to human life or property;

(b)

it is necessary or expedient to prevent undue suffering on the part of the wild animal or wild bird; or

(c)

he is accompanying the holder of a special permit pursuant to section 51.
