Section 5
Section 10 of the principal Act is amended by substituting for subsection (3) the following subsection:
“(3) No motor vehicle shall be registered unless—
(a)
in relation to a motor vehicle, the motor vehicle has an engine number and chassis number which are clear, distinct and untampered;
(b)
in relation to an electric motor vehicle, the electric motor vehicle has an electric motor vehicle serial number and chassis number which are clear, distinct and untampered; and
(c)
the prescribed fee has been paid.”.
