of SYARIAH COURT CIVIL PROCEDURE (FEDERAL TERRITORIES) ACT 1998
Section 22
In the case of marriage, death or bankruptcy of any party—
(a)
if the cause of action does not survive in accordance with
Hukum Syarak, the proceedings shall abate, except as provided in paragraph (c);
(b)
if the cause of action survives or continues in accordance with Hukum Syarak, the proceedings shall not abate or become defective; or
(c)
in case of death after the conclusion of the trial but before judgment is delivered or entered, the proceedings shall not abate, and judgment may be delivered or entered.
