Claim to priority of Convention application

Section 176
(1)

Where before the commencement of this Act, a person has duly filed an application for protection of a trademark in a

Convention country, section 26, 27 or 28 of this Act shall apply to an application for registration under this Act made after the commencement of this Act.

(2)

Nothing in this section affects proceedings on an application for registration under the repealed Act made before the commencement of this Act.
