Relatives who may attend proceedings

Section 61
(1)
The Court shall once in the matter of each inquiry, and may afterwards from time to time, determine which of the relatives or next-of-kin of the mentally disordered person who shall attend before the Registrar in any proceedings connected with the management of the estate of the person.
(2)
Where a relative or next-of-kin is a minor, the Court may appoint a fit and proper person to be his guardian for the purpose of the proceedings.
(3)
The attendance of the relatives or next-of-kin before the
Registrar shall be at the cost of the estate.
