(2)

The decisions of the Director General which may be appealed are—

(a)

the refusal to grant an approval or licence under this Act;

(b)

the refusal to renew a licence under this Act;

(c)

the imposition of any terms and conditions on an approval or licence under this Act;

(d)

the imposition of any terms and conditions on the renewal of a licence upon its renewal under this Act;

(e)

the refusal of an extension of time under subsection 9(3);

(f)

the issuance of a revocation order under this Act;

(g)

the issuance of an order of closure under subsection 35(1);

(h)

the refusal to approve any extension or alteration under subsection 41(1);

(i)

the refusal to approve any transfer or assignment under subsection 42(3); or

(j)

any other decisions made by the Director General under this Act.

(3)

The Minister may, after scrutinizing the appeal, confirm, revoke or vary any decision of the Director General as specified under subsection (2) and impose any terms or conditions to the decision, as he deems just or necessary.

(4)

The decision of the Minister under this section shall be final and conclusive.

Power to exempt
