Appointment of members of Board
A person to be appointed as the Executive Chairman or
Deputy Executive Chairman under paragraphs 9(2)(a) and (b) shall be a person of integrity and impeccable reputation with knowledge of, or experience in business, administration of companies, credit consumer protection, financial or credit products and services, law, economics or accounting.
(2)
The Minister, in appointing other members of the Board under paragraph 9(2)(d), shall have regard to—
(a)
the person’s probity, personal integrity, financial integrity and reputation;
(b)
the person’s competence and capability, including having the relevant knowledge, skills and experience, in fulfilling his responsibilities as a member of the Board; and
(c)
the diversity of the Board members in terms of interest, knowledge, skills and experience.
