State Director and other State Officers
of National Land Code (Revised - 2020)
(1)
The State Authority may appoint for the State—
(a)
a State Director of Lands and Mines, a Registrar of Titles and a Director of Survey and Mapping;
(b)
so many Deputy Directors of Lands and Mines, Assistant
Directors of Lands and Mines, Deputy Registrars of
Titles, Deputy Directors of Survey and Mapping, Land
Administrators, Assistant Land Administrators, Survey
Officers, Settlement Officers and other officers as the
State Authority may consider necessary for the purposes of this Act.

In its application to the Federal Territory of Labuan—
(1)
delete paragraph (c);
(2)
in paragraph (ca), substitute for the words
“, mukim, town or village” the words “or town”;
(3)
in paragraph (d), delete the words “or village”.

In its application to the Federal Territory of Kuala
Lumpur—
(1)
substitute for subsection (1) and the marginal note thereof the following subsections:
