Section 111
The Railway Department shall not be liable for the loss, mis-delivery or detention of or damage to any articles or packages deposited in a cloakroom unless such loss, mis-delivery or detention of or damage is proved to have been occasioned by the misconduct or negligence of the Railway Department or its servants and in cases where the value of such articles or packages exceeds the sum of RM100, unless at the time of deposit the value of the articles or packages was declared and an additional charge paid for excess value in accordance with rule 112.
(b)
The Railway Department shall not in any case be liable in respect of any article or package deposited in a cloakroom for –
(i)
special indirect or consequential loss or damage;
(ii)
loss or damage in respect of any articles or package deposited contrary to these rules.
(c)
Articles of a fragile or perishable nature shall be accepted for deposit at the sole risk of the owner or depositor.
