Section 108 of the principal Act is amended—

(a)
in subsection (1), by substituting for the words
“not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year” the words “of not less than ten thousand ringgit and not more than fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years”; and
(b)
in subsection (3), by substituting for the words
“five thousand ringgit and not more than twenty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term of not less than one year and not exceeding five years”
the words “ten thousand ringgit and not more than two hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term of not less than one year and not more than ten years”.
