(a)
in subsection (1)—
(i)
in paragraph (c), by deleting the word “or”
at the end of the paragraph;
(ii)
in paragraph (d), by substituting for the full stop at the end of the paragraph the words “; or”;
and
(iii)
by inserting after paragraph (d) the following paragraph:
“(e) by serving the notice in the form of an electronic message through an information processing system as determined by the
Director General.”; and
(b)
by inserting after the deleted subsection (4) the following subsection:
“(5) Where a notice is served by an electronic message, the notice shall be deemed to have been served when the electronic message enters the information processing system registered to such person.”.
