(1)
Whoever indulges in any kind of gambling including betting shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.
(2)
Whoever operates a gambling shop or gambling place or the like shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.
(3)
Whoever abets the commission of an offence under subsection (1) or (2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.
