Section 85

Whoever wilfully commits an act to intentionally abort or kill an unborn child of a lawful marriage or out of wedlock, except by an action of a Government Medical Officer who deemes it necessary and unavoidable as it endangers the life of the pregnant woman, shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
