Description of land by reference to deposited plan
of National Land Code (Revised - 2020)
(1)
Where—
(a)
any land is to be identified in a written law or in any instrument, notice or other document published or made under, in pursuance or for the purposes of a written law;
and
(b)
there exists a deposited plan of the land, it shall be sufficient if the land is identified in the law, instrument, notice or document by reference to the plan.
(2)
Where in pursuance of subsection (1), land is identified by reference to a deposited plan, the Minister (or an officer authorized by the Minister to act on his behalf for the purposes of this subsection) may direct that as many copies of the plan as he thinks appropriate shall be distributed to—
(a)
the Land Office of the district in which the land is situated;

such officers and authorities as may be specified in the direction.
