Section 83
(a)
The Railway Department shall not be bound to accept for carriage in goods vehicles a consignment consisting of a single package weighing less than 50 kilograms but such package may be accepted when forming part of a consignment of gross weight of 50 kilograms or more.
(b)
Such single package may, with the consent of the consignor, be booked at parcels rates.
