Section 245

Any person who wilfully or negligently –

(a)

injures or obscures any lighthouse or the lights exhibited therein, or any buoy, beacon or navigational aid, or any cables, wires or other apparatus, either in connection therewith or otherwise;

(b)

removes, alters, injures or destroys any lightship, buoy, beacon or navigational aid, or any cables, wires or other apparatus, either in connection therewith or otherwise; or

(c)

rides by, make fast to, or runs foul of any lightship, buoy, beacon or navigational aid;

shall, in addition to the expenses of making good any damage so occasioned, be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to a fine of two thousand dollars.
