Section 61

Where the service of a seaman belonging to a North Borneo ship terminates before the date contemplated in his agreement by reason of his being left on shore at any place not in

North Borneo under a certificate, granted in the manner provided in the Merchant Shipping

Acts, of his unfitness or inability to proceed on the voyage, he shall be entitled to wages up to the time of such termination, but not for any longer period.

Wages not to accrue during refusal to work or imprisonment.
