(1)
The master of a North Borneo ship where the ship is within North Borneo, shall keep on board proper weights and measures for determining the quantities of the several provisions and articles served out, and shall allow the same to be used at the time of serving out the provisions and articles in the presence of a witness whenever any dispute arises about the quantities.
(2)
If the master of any such ship fails without reasonable cause to comply with this section he shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to a fine of two hundred dollars.
Ship to carry medicines, medical stores etc. in accordance with scale.
