Section 348

Where any distribution order under the Small Estates

(Distribution) Act 1955 [Act 98], has become final in accordance with section 16 of that Act, it shall be the duty of the Registrar to give effect thereto by endorsing a memorial of any transmission thereby effected on the register document of title to the land in question or, as the case may be, the land in which the share or interest in question subsists.

Every such memorial shall state the reference under which the copy of the order is filed and shall be signed and sealed by the Registrar, and a copy of the memorial shall, if he is able to secure its production, be made by him on the issue document of title to the said land or, where the memorial relates to a lease or charge, on the duplicate thereof.

The reference in subsection (1) to a distribution order under the Small Estates (Distribution) Act 1955 includes a reference to any further order made pursuant to section 17 of that Act.
