Section 13

In respect of any passenger or goods transported the Railway Department shall be entitled to collect any amount which may be ascertained by remeasurement, reweighing, reclassification or recalculation to have been undercharged or which may otherwise be found to be due:

Provided that the payment of any such amount shall be demanded in writing within three months of the date of commencement of the passenger’s journey or the delivery of the goods to the Railway Department for transport.
