Section 165

“Load Line Convention country” means –

The following ships are exempt from the provisions of this Chapter namely –

(a)

sailing ships, other than foreign-going ships, of less than three hundred tons gross tonnage;

(b)

ships solely engaged in fishing; and

(c)

pleasure yachts.
