Section 86

Every person (other than a dealer or taxidermist) who purchases a protected wild animal or a protected wild bird live or dead or part thereof from an unlicensed dealer or an unlicensed hunter or a trophy from an unlicensed taxidermist is guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be

PROTECTION OF WILD LIFE liable to a fine not exceeding three hundred dollars or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding one month or to both.
