Section 444
Any instrument executed before the commencement of this Act and effecting any dealing permitted under the instrument may be presented for registration under Part Eighteen at any time within three months of that commencement, and—
(a)
the question whether any instrument so presented is fit for registration shall be determined by the Registrar by reference to the law in force at the time of its execution;
(b)
subject to paragraph (a), the provisions of this Act shall apply to any such instrument as if it had been executed after the commencement thereof.
