Section 67

Every person who unlawfully takes or damages or destroys the nest or egg of a totally protected wild animal or a totally protected wild bird is guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding two thousand five hundred dollars or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding one and a half years or to both.
