Section 71

Every person who unlawfully takes or damages or destroys the nest or egg of a protected wild animal or a protected wild bird is guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding twelve hundred dollars or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding nine months or to both.
