Section 69

Every person who unlawfully shoots kills or takes the female of a protected wild animal or of a protected wild bird is guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding two thousand dollars or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding one and a half years or to both.
