Section 70

Every person who unlawfully shoots kills or takes an immature protected wild animal or an immature protected wild bird is guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand seven hundred dollars or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding fifteen months or to both.
